Bio

AXXENT MUSIC: Axxent is a urban Latin group, whose repertoire includes elements of Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin groves and Reggaeton. Their innovative music and international appeal respond to today’s multicultural urbanites with a new sound for the global age – one that is true to urban hip-hop and cuts across ages, races and cultures. Both lead members boast an extensive artistic resume and bring something unique to the table.

Delwin G is an east coast Dominican rapper of relentless drive and wicked battle skills in both English and Spanish. Delwin opened for some of the greatest names in Hip Hop such as The Fugees, Run DMC and Sugar Hill Gang. Lady O is an extraordinary European songwriter who combines old school sensibility with island rhythm, well crafted pop hooks and streetwise rap in English, Spanish, Italian and French.

To add to their international vibe is The Axxent Crew – a squad of the most talented hip-hop dancers in Los Angeles headed by lead choreographer Timothy Fahey. Tim has worked with artists such as Bobby Valentino’s, Ginuwine, Pit Bull, Chris Brown and Missy Elliot.

Axxent’s sound and performance is as dynamic as their energy, a wild reflection of rhythms, cultures, harmonies and flows. It would be foolish of the industry to sleep on this rare brand of fusion, one where all the elements are perceptible yet inseparable. Their debut album, De Corazon, is the duo’s true reflection of their diverse talents and features production by Marco El Mago, Fabio Boi Angelini and Jose Lopez.

TIM SLIM: Timothy Fahey a.k.a. Tim Slim was born in Greenville South Carolina and started dancing and writing rhymes when he was only a child. Tim studied different hip-hop dance genres and eventually developed his own original dance-style. Tim’s smooth dance skills made him well known within the dance underground community of hip hop in the South.
In 2005, after graduating from high school Tim moved to Los Angeles and became one of the lead dancer/choreographer of Team Ronin together with fellow Japanese female dancer Hiro.
Team Ronin became the featured crew on the Soul Train line; they choreographed/performed in several music videos for artists such Bobby Valentino’s, Deftone, Ginuwine, Pit Bull, Chris Brown, Missy Elliot and many more.
In 2008 Tim and Hiro met with Axxent Music Group and began collaborating on several projects. Soon after Hiro created an all female dance crew “We are Heroes” which won the 2009 American Best Dance Crew. Meanwhile Tim continued working with Axxent Music and became the leader/ co-founder of the Axxent Dance Crew.
Since then Tim has been focusing on choreography for an upcoming Axxent Tour and has landed several local and national sponsorships.

FABIO: Boi began his career as the guitar player of Hollywood-based indie rock band Cartoon Boyfriend. Working with producers of the caliber of Ken Scott (The Beatles, David Bowie, Supertramp,) and Kenny Kerner (Kiss, Gladys Knight, Jose Feliciano) he then moved to production, engineering and songwriting for artists, videogames, TV and film. His film and soundtracks credits include “Home Alone 3” (Fox), “A Cool Dry Place” (Fox) and “Scooby Doo” (Warner bros.). He’s worked as a music producer, mixer and audio engineer for videogame conglomerate Electronic Arts (on tracks composed by DJ Paul Okenfold). Additionally, Boi has managed the nationally distributed independent label Drool Records, as well as two commercial recording studios. He recently worked on the world tour for multiplatinum pop star Pink, and consistently develops artists under his production label: Redrum Productions.

JOSE LOPEZ: Dominican born up and coming producer Jose Lopez began his musical career in 2001 with a rough copy of Fruity Loops and an old Dell Computer in his bedroom in Lynn, Massachusetts. Soon he found himself not leaving his home-studio for days, stuck in the chair coming up with new creative ways to make great music. In 2002 he finally found his nitch in the game with reggaeton although he studied and incorporated different styles such as Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, Dancehall, Hip Hop and Electronica. Mixing different sounds and rhythm gave him the opportunity to explore music in its broader meaning – music in its infinite form.

Lopez has encountered many challenges in life. Being away from his mother, whom he has not seen in eleven years and being a young father to his beautiful two and a half years old boy JaYden, has made him stronger and opened to experience his emotions which he incorporated in his writings and productions.

Today Lopez works with several artists in both Massachusetts and California and continues to bring his diverse and eclectic style to the music scene. He has an extensive collection of beats and productions available for sale, leasing and licensing for artist and commercial projects. In 2009 he began working with Axxent Music Inc. and became part of the Axxent Crew. With Axxent he found a vehicle to explore a new international world that would certainly bring him great opportunities and help him set the music world on fire.
